Worst use of st.germain

So Im a fan of St.Germain. This cannot be denied. I have never in my life seen a worse cocktail containing st. Germain. Don't get me wrong.., each of the contents of this drink I am a fan of. The cocktail itself is something like what you would put together when youre 5. Pancakes, sprinkles, blueberries and candy canes perhaps? The actual ingredients? Gin, aperol, st. Germain, grapefruit, tequila, bitters, lime juice, salt. Somebody needs to be drug out into Granville street and shot. Fact.

Sutton place Molly Dooker wine tasting

An amazing tasting.. Best of all was our speaker and wine maker Sparky. Came up with some amazing stories and I quote:

(upon losing a container of their finest in an accident)
Driver: I wish it had been our next shipment
Sparky: well we can recover from this: why on earth do you say this?
Driver: next container was sand

Also interesting:

I drink and then sometimes remember that I'm hungry

What contemptible bastard stole the cork to my lunch!

Brandywine Bar School

Opening party for Vancouvers newest bar school was last week!!! Bartender extraordiare Dave Mott and his brother Geoff have opened brandywine bar school. The Bar is set up like a true bartender did it... The only negative I have to say about it is that graduates won't have the opportunity to work such a well set up bar.

Vancouver Greats 1

So, I was at Refinery recently, had something similar to a Peat Collins and... scotch lovers turn your heads... Ardbeg, green and white chartreuse, lime (may have been lemon...it wasnt my first cocktail of the evening), produced a surprisingly simple to make but complex to the taste cocktail. And hey, what is a spirit if not appreciated in a balanced cocktail? Amazing, interesting, and fun.. Well done guys...
